Does Barnsbook require an internet connection?

No. Barnsbook works 100% offline. All your data is stored locally on your device. You don't need an internet connection to track livestock, log expenses, or use any core feature.

How do I back up my data?

Go to Settings and use the iCloud Backup option to back up your data to your personal iCloud account. You can also export data as CSV files for safekeeping.

Can I use Barnsbook on my iPad and Mac?

Yes! Barnsbook works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. The interface automatically adapts to each screen size.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings on your device > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Barnsbook, and select Cancel. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

Is my farm data private?

Absolutely. All data stays on your device. We don't collect, transmit, or store your farm data on any server. AI features run on-device — nothing is sent to the cloud.

How do I restore my subscription on a new device?

Open Barnsbook on your new device, go to the upgrade screen, and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID.

Can I track multiple ranches?

Yes, with a Pro or Premium subscription. You can manage multiple ranches from a single app, with separate animals, pastures, and finances for each operation.

What happens if I delete the app?

All data stored locally will be deleted. If you have an iCloud backup, you can restore your data after reinstalling. We recommend backing up before deleting.
